Evan Tipton is a member of Warburton Capital Management’s Advisory Board. He is a third-generation Oklahoman and proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation. Tipton is also an established business and community leader. Tipton resides with his wife Cassie and daughter Waite, in Tulsa, but regularly conducts business and serves in leadership roles across the state.
After 13 years in the insurance industry, Evan acquired an existing Farmers Insurance Agency in March of 2019. At the agency, he applies his broad base of insurance experience to take full advantage of the wide array of insurance products provided by Farmers and its affiliated companies. In 2019 Evan also started The New Fire Group, an employee benefits and commercial insurance consulting firm. New Fire specializes in employee health plans and commercial insurance consulting for both large and small companies.
Outside of Evan’s professional career he has a lengthy resume of giving back to the community. He once served as the Chairman for Tulsa’s Young Professionals, which was at that time, an over 8,500 member organization. Evan currently serves as a director on the boards of The Oklahoma State Chamber, Boy Scouts Of America, Tulsa and Oklahoma BizPAC, Tulsa Tough, Tulsa’s Great Raft Race, The Forge Business Incubator and the Advisory Board of Warburton Capital.
In the past, he served as a board member or trustee for the Tulsa Regional Chamber, Tulsa Sports Commission, Visit Tulsa, Tulsa Community Foundation, ImpactTulsa Leadership Council, and TYPROS Foundation. Evan is most proud to have earned the rank of Eagle Scout but has also been inducted into the OSU Spears School Hall of Fame as an Outstanding Young Alumni, recognized by Oklahoma Magazine as “40 Under 40” and by Tulsa Business & Legal News as “Fast 40.” He has also donated time in numerous capacities over the years with the American Indian Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, Big Brothers & Big Sisters and the Community Food Bank, to name a few.
